Scholarship Website Highlights DREAMer

I came across something this week that really put a smile on my face.

Like most DREAMers, getting to college is the number one priority. And paying for it comes with the added burden of searching through the thousands of options for scholarships out there to find the few that we are eligible for.

Along the way in my personal search, I signed up for a weekly newsletter of academic and financial advice to all college students. Each week, a different question most college students face is highlighted and answered.

This week, just as I was beginning to contemplate submitting a letter myself about my personal DREAMer story, the author comes out with this article:

Can a Brilliant Illegal Alien Go To College in the U.S.?

It amazing to see us highlighted. We are making a difference. We are on the minds of financial aid advisers, congressmen, construction workers, etc. We will make change. The DREAM is coming. 

Oh, and as a side note: I know just about all of you can’t help but read some of the comments too. This is a set of interesting comments.
