Immigrant Rights Organizers Gathering w/ Carlos Garcia, Community Organizer of Puente AZ

Hello,
We are extending this personal invitation because you’ve been
identified as an organizer and community leader that is committed in
building a social and racial justice movement in Massachusetts and
beyond.  At this gathering we will have a candid and open discussion
with Carlos Garcia, Community Organizer from Phoenix Arizona, who for
the last four years has worked towards ending and educating about the
constant human rights abuses of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the 287(g)
Agreements and Arizona’s series of anti-migrant laws.

In addition, we will learn what is working in Arizona’s fight to
combat the atrocities of ICE and local police collaborations, share
best practices and tap into a national community organizer network
that will strengthen the immigrant rights movement in Massachusetts.
